    Description:  
  • Lucy is a sweet friendly little doe.
    She loves to cock her head to
    look at you.  
  • Awesome Mom  
  • She has a good little udder.  It is
    well attached and has nice teats
    to milk. The teats are well
    balanced, and udder has good
    capacity
  • Her top line is level, and being
    long & dairy looking.  
  • Steady miker for long term good
    quantities of milk
  • Well sprung ribs, with good body
    capacity.  
  • Legs are wide apart, giving
    room for her udder.

    We just began milking her (first
    milking) 12 Sept 2009.  She is
    very quiet and milking easily.

2010 Barn Records
Just started miking and graining in April.  Milk usually at 2am and 7pm (not the usual 12
hour intervals.  Some months only milked once/day, due to letting kids nurse.
Milk weight taken with each milking, and not projected amounts.
    Lucy's 2010 Summary (last year she kidded in May, so we were only able to allow her to
    milk for 7 months.. due to 2010 kidding.  We have brought her up to mlking 9 months in
    2010, and hope to increase that for 2011.  Lucy had several periods of sickness, so
    lower milk quantites at that time.
